Job Description:

ROLLerUP- Custom Shutters Newmarket is seeking an administrative assistant to provide support in a wide variety of ongoing administrative operations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to be an active participant in the growth of the firm, with a focus on providing outstanding client service.

What will you do?

  • Administrative support for two partners of the company
  • Follow up on client service matters with clients and back office administration as required
  • Monitor and respond to clients and vendors e-mails; Proactively manage email inboxes, triaging urgent requests and responding to external client needs on behalf of the partners
  • Manage all aspects of the partners calendars to ensure meetings are prioritized with clients/business partners as appropriate
  • Preparation of account documents and follow upon delivery
  • Prepare client review materials, correspondence, and reports
  • Utilize contact management system for daily task management and client record-keeping
  • Assist in filing and preparing mailings (electronic and otherwise)
  • Fulfill all other administrative duties such as answering calls, monitor and organize supplies, maintain office organization


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour


ROLLerUP Custom Shutters



  • Post-secondary education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform with professionalism and poise
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Able to be proactive and take initiative
  • Demonstrate accuracy and detail oriented
  • Ability to follow instructions and retain that knowledge for future use
  • Relies on experience and judgement to make decisions
  • Highly organized and effective at owning tasks and prioritizing them
  • Experience as an administrative assistant: 2 years
  • Nice-to-have
  • Proficiency in “Method” client management system
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks online
  • Comprehension in technical terms
  • Russian language is an asset
