Automatic Rain Ltd. is a growing company located in Bradford. We specialize in irrigation installation and maintenance for commercial and residential properties from Toronto to Barrie. Our pride of service and commitment to customers is key to our success. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. We are prepared to train the right candidate.

Subtleties for each position vary.  You will work both independently and with team members on the daily operations. This will include, but not limited to; Start-ups, winterization, new installations, system testing, regular maintenance and system repairs.

The ability to take direction from management in completing tasks relating to client specifications is indispensable. Finally, as a representative of the company a professional attitude with a commitment to client-based service is essential.


  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience. $15-$20/hr
  • Annual profit-sharing bonuses


Automatic Rain


  • 1+ years in the landscape irrigation or relatable trade
  • Valid “G” drivers license, with clean abstract
  • Valid Police Criminal Record Check

Advantageous Skills Towards Position

  • 1+ years in the landscape irrigation industry
  • Working knowledge of how an irrigation system operates
  • Working repair knowledge of irrigation system parts
  • Basic power tool and plumbing operation
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Follow and provide written and verbal instruction, English
  • Understand blueprints or diagrams
  • Ensure safe work practices with documented irrigation training or certifications from LO or IA
  • Experience installing, servicing & maintaining all aspects of an irrigation system
  • Ability to drive with trailer
  • Knowledge of Jobber is considered an asset

Working Conditions

  • Work duties will primarily be carried out outdoors and regularly exposed to all elements and temperatures
  • Must be physically capable of performing required duties, including moderate-heavy lifting
  • Must provide safety shoes
  • May be required to work long hours, including occasional Saturday’s and holiday Monday’s
  • Seasonal position. Beginning of April to mid December, dependant on weather conditions.
