Job Description:

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm; Friday 9:00-4:00pm


  • Assessing and uploading trucks/truck parts in accordance to current stock and inputting descriptions/uploading pictures to our website. Assess incoming trucks with supervisor and decide which parts are to be inventoried/saved.
  • Inventory all parts and upload them to our website with descriptions, pictures and a percentage rating.
  • Mark all inventoried parts with their correct inventory numbers.
  • Use the appropriate tools to pull/remove inventoried parts and put in their correct locations for storage and update locations. Air tools, power tools and hand tools.
  • Assess loose parts in “drop zone” area and inventory/upload if they are not already inventoried AND check parts are still in same condition if already inventoried. Put parts in their correct location and update location on inventory.
  • Remove parts from vehicles/cabs that are to be saved then upload and inventory them.
  • Regularly check/audit inventory locations, making sure parts that are uploaded are in correct locations/are still in the same condition as described on our website.
  • Check stock for parts and provide dimensions for shipping for sales and office staff upon request.
  • Prepare and package parts for shipping as requested from sales and office staff.
  • Prepare and build crates for doors/hoods and other parts for shipping as requested from sales and office staff.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organized area for all parts and their locations.
  • Work with supervisor to update/alter inventoried locations for more efficient and organized storage.
  • Must wear appropriate safety equipment, which can change depending on the task you are doing. Although safety boots, eye protection and high visibility clothing MUST be worn at all times. Other examples of safety equipment are hearing protection, cutting glasses, work gloves.
  • Occasional use of oxygen and acetylene torch for cutting (if required).
  • Sometimes helping customers load purchased parts.
  • Tracking down/looking for parts that may be missing from their locations.
  • Working indoors and outdoors all year round, in cold and hot conditions.
  • Assisting customers with viewing parts.
  • Be willing to work as a team member and be willing to assist with other tasks and projects that may arise.

  • Knowledgeable with computers/laptops/smartphones/digital cameras,
  • Knowledge of automotive parts is bonus, but not essential.
  • Must have reliable transportation – no public transit is available.
