Position Summary Directs and co-ordinates activities involved in the overnight operation of a retail store by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Position Responsibilities Directs compliance of Associates with established Company policies, procedures and standards such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel and grievance practices. Inspects premises of assigned areas within the store to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety and environmental codes and ordinances. Teaches others how to do a task by demonstrating and explaining how to do it and then observing the person performing the task. Moves around the store to assess the overall presentation of merchandise and appearance of the store noting deficiencies for corrective action. Executes merchandising display changes where required. Is responsible for assisting in providing direction and co-ordination of the overnight stocking and maintenance teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: Training Associates. Planning, assigning and directing work. Addressing complaints and resolving problems

The Associate will be required to perform tasks involving simple grasping. The Associate will be required to have sufficient co-ordination (i.e. placing and screwing in a small washer on a bolt, picking up a paper clip, etc.). Licensing & Other Qualifications The Associate must complete all Wal-Mart Basic Modules and classes. Must be qualified to operate all backroom equipment.
