Job Description:

Speedy Auto in Newmarket is currently looking for 1- 2 Year Apprentice or Automotive Technician to join their busy Service Department. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience as an Apprentice Technician. Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, shackles and rear axle housings;
  • Drain oil from crankcase and replenish with required amount;
  • Replace air and oil filters;
  • Add water to radiator and battery;
  • Check and adjust pressure of tires. Rotate, repair and replace tires, when necessary
  • Help and learn from 3 experienced technicians with 25+ years of experience
  • Learning with the latest tools
  • Technicians will gain experience working on a variety of cars

Speedy auto Newmarket


  • High School or Equivalent
  • 310s certification OR 1-2 Years' experience working as an Apprentice Technician
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Registered with the Ontario College of Trades
  • Available to work Saturday & evenings as needed
