What We Do
CONTACT - South Simcoe Community Information Centre is a non-profit registered charity that provides community-focused services to the residents of South Simcoe and develops projects that meet community needs.
Our History
CONTACT originated in April of 1977 as a response to our community’s demand for a support service for those in need of a ‘listening ear’. A Community Information Centre was developed to help community members access information about the range of health and human services available in the South Simcoe area. Since then, CONTACT has continued to assess current and future trends within our community in order to respond to the needs of our community members.
Our Mission
CONTACT’s mission is to improve the quality of life in South Simcoe by identifying innovative solutions to community needs and providing quality services and support.
